A number of investigational agents and drugs that are approved for other indications are currently being studied in clinical trials for the treatment of COVID-19 and associated complications. Data from randomized controlled trials, prospective and retrospective observational cohorts, and case series studies are rapidly emerging. The COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel (the Panel) continues to review the most recent clinical data to provide up-to-date treatment recommendations to clinicians who are caring for patients with COVID-19. In this section, the Panel recommends strategies for managing patients with different severities of disease.

A Report : Examining Patient Perspectives And Physician Adoption Of Telemedicine Since The Covid-19 Pandemic

We asked 2,000 U.S. adults — half who identified as having a chronic illness — about their attitudes and preferences towards telemedicine starting in July 2020. We found that the pandemic has resulted in a sharp shift of attitudes towards telemedicine, with many patients reporting they will likely continue to adopt it even after the pandemic is behind us.

DOJ charges 86 defendants with $4.5 billion in telehealth fraud
In total, hundreds were charged in $6 billion fraud takedown related to telehealth and substance abuse treatment facilities. The Department of Justice on Wednesday charged 345 people, including doctors, nurses and other medical professionals, across 51 federal districts in what the agency is calling the largest healthcare fraud takedown in history.
