aapi'S GOT TALENT
Amit Chakrabarty is the founder and Co Chair of one of the biggest crowd attractions of AAPI conventions – “AAPI’s Got Talent“.
Amit, himself a passionate singer and entertainer, conceived this event to showcase the talents of the AAPI physician members and their families. After trying for several years to have it included in the convention events, Dr Vinod Shah put his trust in him and “AAPI’s Got Talent” was born at the Washington DC convention in 2010 and rapidly escalated to become the most anticipated event of all AAPI conventions.
Seema Arora joined him as a co-host during the last few years and with her charm and poise, propelled the show to greater heights.
MEHFIL
Amit Chakrabarty was instrumental in creating a forum “MEHFIL” to showcase AAPI members’ amatuer talent in an informal setting. This features a late night kick-back relaxed session that has become a massive hit among AAPI Convention attendants. Everyone has a hidden artistic streak seeking avenues to surface and this is exactly the reason for the success of this session.
This complimentary event features a sit down mehfil-like decor with late night snacks and drinks that makes it even more popular and gives it the perfect relaxed ambiance. This event is sponsored by Amit and his sponors.
Geetanjali Music
Geetanjali was founded in Huntsville, Alabama, USA by Dr. Amit Chakrabarty in August 1997. The group presents live musical shows extensively around USA and it has also performed in several shows abroad. They perform mainly old and new Hindi filmi songs but with a variety of regional songs on demand.
We provide the complete entertainment package for any event and we offer everything from the timeless gems of the yesteryear to the contemporary chartbusters with a splattering of comedy, mimicry, sher-o-shayari and hilarious musical parodies.
We perform with mastered and remixed tracks or live orchestra as the situation demands.
