Practical tips for the practicing physicians reg. CORONA PANDEMIC

My Dear Colleagues:

Thank you for your encouraging comments to my last post
After sieving through the overload of information that we are bombarded with every day in social media I have again put together pertinent and helpful resources for practicing physicians. Hope you find it useful. Please email be back your feedback and feel free to forward to your physician friends.

One important reminder! Though this definitely is not a priority at this time of national crisis and I hate bringing this up but as an AAPI BOT I just want to remind you that if you have not sent your ballots back, please spare a few moments and send it back. The deadline for receipt of the ballots is still April 10.
If you have not received your ballots till now most likely It is lost in the mail. Please email me and I will try and get a duplicate ballot to you ASAP.

Here are some relevant links to resources that I have put together regarding the important questions that we face now:

Telemedicine

ACP: Telemedicine: A Practical Guide for Incorporation into your Practice

CMS: Telehealth Toolkit for General Practitioners

(I have tried out the telemedicine portal that I had told you about in my last blog. It has a few important features that the others do not have, that makes it attractive. Unfortunately they are more expensive than the others in the business. Working on a price for AAPI. Let me know if you want to try it out as demo but wait till I negotiate the price down before signing)

Guidelines for businesses and employees

Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers to Plan and Respond to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

Operating Room Guidelines

ACS: COVID-19 Guidance for Triage of Non–Emergent Surgical Procedures

What we do when a COVID-10 patient needs and operation: Operating room preparation and guidance from a front line Singapore Hospital

Management of COVID-19 Cases in OR

Attached are a couple of posters re office practices and proper way of putting on and taking off PPE, that can be printed and posted in your offices.

Best regards,
